MoxyTouch User Guide

MoxyTouch is a 2-step solution to remotely publish digital media to a screen, for both individual presentation and concurrent presentation.

MoxyTouch Setup Options

  1. Use a Moxy Touch Screen Unit
    Connect your Moxy Touch Screen Unit to the screen using an HDMI cable. Power on the unit with the micro USB port. No additional devices are required.

  2. Use a Windows Computer
    Connect a Windows computer to the screen and install the MoxyTouch app.

  3. Use a Tablet or iPad
    Download MoxyTouch from Google Play or Apple Store.

Two-Factor Authentication

This feature is for Australia only if using a mobile phone for 2FA. It provides a way of 'double-checking' your identity. To enable or disable 2FA, navigate to ‘My Profile’ after signing in.

Containers

Uploaded digital media and data are stored in containers.

Types of Containers

There are 6 categories of containers:

  • Calendar (including AC Lab System Labcast, Outlook, and Google Calendars)
  • Dashboard (including AC Lab System Analytics, weather forecast, etc.)
  • Doc (includes pdf, word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Image (includes jpg, png, gif, tiff)
  • Video (includes mp4, YouTube, Vimeo)
  • Widget (includes websites and various interactive DIY components)

Containers can be found in the container tab of the navigation bar. The red bubble on the container indicates the number of files inside. The size limit for most files is 100mb; for mp4 files, the limit is 4GB.

Example: To upload a jpg image: Navigate to Containers > Image Container > JPG container.

Doc Carousel Casts

To set up a multi-PDF cast, navigate to Containers > Doc Container > Build Doc Carousel Cast. After selecting and titling the desired PDF, press "Submit" to add it to your list of PDF files.

Video Carousel Casts

Set up a multi-MP4 video cast by navigating to Containers > Video Container > Build MP4 Carousel Cast. After selecting and titling desired MP4 files, press "Submit" to add it to your list of MP4 video files.

Image Carousel Casts

Navigate to Containers > Image Container > Build Image Carousel Cast. An image carousel consists of selected images rotating on the screen.

Edit Image and Add Caption

This feature allows edits directly from your browser. You can crop, rotate, flip, or add captions to images in the image containers.

Calendar Container

Display a real-time live feed from an online calendar. For Google Calendar, obtain the URL and paste it into the input box. Instructions are provided for connecting Outlook.

Dashboard Container

Connect to the AC Lab System to create labcast dashboards for displaying various data.

Widget Container

This container features several interactive widgets:

  • Alert Widget: Notifies personnel of issues.
  • Happy Face Widget: Gathers visitor feedback.
  • Digital Sign-In Widget: Check-in/log records of all visitors.
  • Resource QR Widget: Displays an interactive interface for resource tracking.

MoxyTouch Screens

A MoxyTouch screen unit is defined as one attached to a monitor, tablet, or display device. This section allows you to manage your screen units and their settings.

Screen Types

  1. Presentation Screen: Non-interactive display.
  2. Kiosk Touch Screen: Interactive display with touch functionality.

Zoom In Functions

  • Preview content, edit properties, and manage settings from your screen’s zoom-in panel.

MoxyTouch Co-Worker Groups

Manage your screens and containers with peers by inviting them into co-worker groups with specific roles: Subscriber, Associate Subscriber, and Member.

MoxyTouch Unit Subscriptions

List all owned screen units and their subscription periods.

MoxyTouch App Licensing and Subscriptions

To use the MoxyTouch app, a valid license key is required, available through secure payment options.

FAQ

  1. How can I sign in if I forgot my password?
    You can sign in with your mobile phone. Enter your registered email for an access code.

  2. Can I reboot the MoxyTouch screen?
    Yes, navigate to MoxyTouch > MoxyTouch Single Screen and select Zoom In.

  3. Can I change the MoxyTouch screen orientation?
    Yes, orientation settings are available in the same menu as rebooting.
